Data deletion instructions.

Effective date: May 5, 2026. This page explains how to request deletion of information that Lightning Deals LLC controls for StoneSnap and related services, including Meta app data where applicable.

1. Overview

This page explains how to request deletion of information that Lightning Deals LLC controls for StoneSnap and related Lightning Deals services. It can also be used as the Data Deletion Instructions URL for Meta developer settings.

StoneSnap does not currently use Facebook Login. If Meta app events, advertising measurement, attribution, or Conversions API data are involved, we will review and delete or anonymize the information we control where we can reasonably identify it.

2. How To Request Deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject line "StoneSnap Data Deletion Request" or "StoneSnap Meta Data Deletion Request."

In your message, include the app name, the email address you are using to contact us, the approximate dates of app use or support contact, and enough context to help us locate relevant records. Do not send sensitive information that is not needed for the request.

We may ask for reasonable verification before processing a request so that we do not delete or disclose information to the wrong person.

3. What We Delete

When we can identify responsive records, we will delete or anonymize personal information and app-related records that we control, including support records, app event records, attribution records, AI request records, or saved service records associated with the request where applicable.

Some data may be stored only on your device or in services controlled by Apple, Meta, or another provider. We can help explain the next step, but we cannot directly delete information that another company controls.

4. What May Be Retained

We may retain information when required or reasonably needed for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax or accounting obligations, App Store purchase records, subscription entitlement integrity, support history, or other legitimate operational reasons.

Where possible, retained records are limited to what is necessary for that purpose.

5. App Store Subscriptions

Deleting app data does not cancel an App Store subscription. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Apple processes App Store purchases and may retain purchase, billing, tax, refund, and subscription records according to Apple's own policies.

6. Meta And Advertising Data

If your request relates to Meta, Facebook, Instagram, or ads measurement, mention Meta in the subject line or message body. We will review app events and advertising measurement records that we control and delete or anonymize them where applicable.

To manage data held directly by Meta, use your Facebook, Instagram, or Meta account settings. Removing app access or changing ad preferences in Meta settings may not delete historical records that we control, so you can still email us for a direct deletion request.

7. Timing And Contact

We will respond to verified deletion requests as required by applicable law. If we need more information to locate records or verify the request, we will contact you using the email address you provide.
